Thanks, hopefully them covering it wont be an issue. I talked to the body shop and they said the aftermarket thing is sort of hit or miss, I will have to talk to the adjuster.

Due to the car being low, the towing company had us sign a damage waiver (geico said in this situation, that if damages were to occur Geico would cover it). We get to the shop to sign paperwork, and lo and behold the front bumper is F*CKED! Now we had to make a whole new claim for the new damage, and we are praying Geico will cover it like they said. Has anyone had problems like this?
It really sucks when bozos make a bad situation worse. I feel your pain. From here on in, write everything anybody says or does down and make the insurance company put every promise in writing. Careful what you sign. If they give you a hint of trouble, tell them you're hiring a lawyer. That should shut them the hell up. If it doesn't, then hire that lawyer and sue their asses.

definitely Geico sucks... thats why we have USAA! So come to find out, Geico didnt know what the hell to do about it... idiots. The people at the bodyshop were super nice and worked with us. ALL damage from impact and Tow truck is being repaired under the original claim!
The whole deal with the damage waiver, I asked 2 people about before husband signed it... the reassured me it was standard 'procedure'. Also, the reason we towed it was because we had to make an appointment with the adjuster.. and soonest one was 2 weeks away. With towing it in, Geico makes it a higher priority (how they explained it).
Who knows, all that matters now is its getting fixed! YAY
