Smooshed :(
Husband's 8 got backed into. He was parked on the curb outside our apartment, and a lady was pulling out of her driveway and apparently didnt see the car at all and ran right into it.
She mustve been going pretty fast for it to be crushed so bad. Bleh.. thank God for insurance.
yes, its horribly dirty.. disregard lol

Its just the rear door, Im not sure how she missed the quarter panel, She was in a freakin suburban (which btw had only a tiny dent in the bumper).
It did however knock his rear bumper loose a little in the impact and there is a very small 'wave' in the front door.

that sucks! really not that bad though...it could have been way worse. and if it was a suburban, i'd say she was going no more than idle/parking lot speed. it doesn't take much in a car that big.

door isnt fixable.. we will be getting a new one. The 'orange' wheels were supposed to be a dark bronze, but arent (I give him **** about them all the time).
The BB 8 under the car port is mine, the silver one is our friends and the Nordic Green one (with the dent) Is my husbands.

K so, heres whats going on now. Kind of wandering if anyone has been in this sort of situation.
The insurance called me today to set up an appointment for the adjuster to assess the car, if we had it towed in, it would be done immediately, if we drove it in, they wouldnt get to it for another 2 weeks.
Due to the car being low, the towing company had us sign a damage waiver (geico said in this situation, that if damages were to occur Geico would cover it). We get to the shop to sign paperwork, and lo and behold the front bumper is F*CKED! Now we had to make a whole new claim for the new damage, and we are praying Geico will cover it like they said. Has anyone had problems like this?

oh that sucks. a local near me had AAA drop his car and messed up the rear bumper. I do not remember if he signed a waiver but AAA replaced his rear and paid 100%. This is the one thing that i dread with having a lowered car. Most of it is the towing companies dont give 2 ***** and by signing a waiver they care even less.
the only issue i see is it being a aftermarket bumper. on another vehicle i had rims get damaged and they would not replace because i did not add them to my policy or have reciepts on hand. what i did talk them into doing is paying out the cost of oem replacements (in your case bumper and body shop cost). Hope this helps
