My Esmeril turbo video
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/R...htm#commentTop
The video is on the link above.
Car is running around 8-9 psi (atmosphere dump wastegate and BOV) with conservative tune and meth injection. I was doing the filming and Chris was doing the driving. He shifts really really fast! Sorry for the windy sound inside the car. We were street tuning and had to run cable from the Microtech into the cabin through the front passenger window.
We did 2nd and 3rd gear pulled and then a 3rd to 4th gear pulled. Car pulls hard and I had a hard time holding on to the seat on the back to get the camera to stay still. From my stop watch, it goes from 30-50 mph in 1.67 sec in 2nd gear and from 60-85 mph took 3.78 sec in 3rd -4 gear. Note that we only shift at 8000 rpm or so. I love torque!
I have not put the car on the dyno yet. I don't know what the hp is right now but it pulls hard. Car can be a lot quicker but for now I will stay with what I have and get use to driving it. I plan on changing spark plugs this week per Chris recommendation along with new Manacore 10mm ignition wires.
I wish we are on a high way so we can go to higher speed with straight smoother road and cleaner pull without worry about deers and stuffs.
Enjoy!

Car pulls even harder over 7000 rpm feeling like it going to fly. But usually there is no need to go up that high to get strong pulls. Usually 6000 rpm will do. Putting this sort of horse power into the lightest model (base sport package) and it is a blast to drive.

Not too shabby. Dunno about "fast" but definitely looks "quick" I only wish the car was capable of that in stock form, but alas it is not. Show us some videos when you turn up the wick.

This is a big turbo so of course it will spool slower than the smaller turbo. It hard to see in the video psi vs rpm. If you floor it, you will get 1-2 psi of boost at 3200 or so rpm. By 4500 rpm usually it already at 8-10 psi. I noticed that colder temp cause the turbo to spool a bit slower than when it warms out. The thermostat in my car is way off right now after parking the car for 2 months while working on the engine. It was low 40s the night we shot the video. Note also the car was tuned on old plugs that were on engine before the rebuilt. I replaced the plugs with new ones yesterday and now it pulls noticibly harder and cleaner up top.
So far I am adjusting to the power curve of the car. There is no need to rev the car pass 6000 rpm really. It goes ballistic after 7000 rpm. This turbo will spool all the way not like smaller turbo where power drop off dramatically up top because it is too small. The kit proves to be reliable so far. Combine mileage before/after engine was rebuilt is around 5000 miles.
