Thx. I took it off and spent many hours polishing it. I'd do the same with the intake ports if it was easier to get at.

Hey, SiLVeRE8. Where did you find that steel braided hose fitting on the oil neck? Does that fit barbed lines just to give it the look of the AN fitting? Really neat! =D

You can actually find them in your local auto parts store like Autozone, Kragens, or Pepboys.

Hey Altspace, how much of a PITA was it to get that gold film on the firewall?lol

Was it as hard as getting the engine padding off? Im gonna pull my padding off this coming weekend and im debating whether i should do something similar. Havent decided yet as i like to keep things a bit more different then other people.

BTW, i have your blog as a bookmark. I use your 8 as a guide for mine lol. Very simple and clean, with some personality. Very much like it.

Thx Crazy. Yea, it took some time for the film. In hindsight I should have cut smaller pieces but I did not want so many seams showing.

The sides of the padding are simple and can be reused. The firewall stuff was a bitch. The only way to get it out without taking apart the engine bay is to cut it into pieces and remove. Note that much of it is fiberglass so it will make a mess and wear gloves.

Just updated the Blog today infact.

Josh, I search for your username and check your blog pretty often as well as marc's. Wish I had the motivation to make one myself but I want my little upgrades to be a surprise when you guys see my car in person instead of online.
Not that I'll have any mods this year, I lost thousands when the river decided to crest it's banks and run into my basement last week. There goes my suspension upgrades I had planned for this summer...

Yep - all but one are. Trying to find this one is tuff. It was not included in the BHR kit for some reason. Even Ray was scratching his head why not.
