I think your pics are really cool and original too, I use to have an internship at Nasa Kennedy Space Center, but I didn't have my 8 three years ago so I can't get into the restricted areas anymore, but If I could, I would be making the trip to the coast again. Haha, props for HIX8 and his photoskills

Hey! Then you'll recognize this...

I snapped that one in early '04 with my previous gen cellcam.

...and another helpful hint, if you do gloss over the technical legalities and push the limits, just make sure you don't get carried away and end up like this clown:

Most definitely. I expect that you could stack every RX-8 that's every been built inside there and still have plenty of room to spare.

The incident happened in November 1999 in the Florida panhandle. Eglin AFB. Two 19 year old sky cops, a male and female. The "official story" is that the dude, "Airman Ray", was driving and that the reason for him being destracted was that he dropped his cellphone on the floor and he bent down to try to pick it up. But there is a much more colorful version of the story that the chick, "Airman Casey", had taken, um, let's say, a much more active role in distracting his driving. This supposedly involved his buckle being undone, and I'm not just talking safety belt here. But if you've seen The World According To Garp, I'm glad to report that he did not suffer any, um, dis-memberment. All three people involved (there was a crew chief standing next to the jet when it got slammed) were released from the hospital within a day, as the report stated.

Sharp! Its great how you're all over that airport like you own it. And the DC-3 photos are absolute nostalgia.

I had the pleasure of dragging my 8 down an active runway one time. I don't have any photos or vids of the event because I was too busy swiveling my head for planes (and cops).

I certainly wouldn't want you getting in any trouble. Some long lensework would probably be a safe way to go.

I have yet to see anyone provide photographic evidence of the "Holy Trinity".

My collection is severely lacking in cool civilian aircraft, but I do have this one:

Obviously crappy execution with the cellcam once again, but if I can force myself to overlook the limitations, it makes me think of that old Triumph TR7 slogan:

"The shape of things to come."

[edit: TR7 dehyphenated]

Found the classic commercial on uTube.

For anyone not familiar with it, keep in mind that this wedge shape at the time was a radical departure from all the boxes driving around:

That'd be fun. Of course, it'd be better with cones too
