I suppose if one considers an engine off a Minivan/SUV/Pickup/Car on a sedan chassis with various donor car parts bin components as purebred sports car, then the Mitsu Eclipse must be a thoroughbred sports car too.
Silly Honda for spending so much R&D on the S2000 and NSX. They should've just stuff an Odyssey engine on a Civic, sprinkle CR-V dashboard & seats and call it a day with the S2000?
