I fully agree here, around NH during and after snow storms I see more awd and 4x4's stuck and getting towed then anything else. People seem to fail to realize that it only helps under acceleration not deceleration or change of direction which rely completely on contact patch and application of force by breaks not from the driveline. I find it amusing when the ppl in the SUV's slide past me and then ask if the car is awd. When I say no they ask how it gets around in the snow and I always look at them and just say "better then you it seems." lol

Well I live in Lincoln right now but I'll be movin back home to Omaha this summer. I'd be down for a cruise, I can think of one or two very very good roads off the top of my head. Were you at the Neb/Iowa meet at Chalco hills this summer?
