Thumbs down OEM front bumper lip

So this giant trucker mud flap was on the freeway today when I was driving, literally had zero time to avoid it, it broke my front bumper lip and got stuck up in the underneaths of my car! Best day ever to say the least, but anyways I'm trying to figure out if I just need to buy the front lip add on or if I need to buy the upper piece too because I can't tell if the triangle design is attached to the bumper or if it's apart of the add on lip. Also I can't seem to find this exact piece anywhere, anyone know where I can get one? And if I just have to buy the lip or more?

I am much in the same boat.

It look like just the lip is missing but underneath it looks like more might be missing.

Can anyone tell me what's missing?

Mrisher, it seems like your undertray is missing.

YOu can get oem from mazda dealer, amazon or Ebay..
Or you can get Aluminum undertray from LRB 'http://lrbspeed.com/product/rx-8-under-tray/"

Dang! looking at this pic makes me realize how vulnerable the radiator is without undertray..

MsKingRotary, you might only need to replace the front bumper lip ad on.

You may also be able to stick the existing one back on if its not cracked.

The triangle is part of the lip, not the bumper. You guys will both want to make sure there is an undertray and that it's well attached. Otherwise air doesn't go in your radiator, it goes under the car.

The Genuine Mazda Front Air Dam part, does pop up on ebay from time to time. The real trick is waiting for the color that matches your 8.
