MOdel is Shine RX8-SS-B
in the middle by the doors is black electric tape I haven't taken it out, just had it there to hold them tight so the 3m double sided tape help right.

I detailed the RX8 I picked up on Saturday from front to back because the dealership has a very interesting idea of "detailed". Heading back out in a moment to polish the surface rust off the wheels. If the weather is nice this weekend I will probably clay it in preparation to deal with the road rash chips. It's awesome to have a car that I care about again.

Spent some money today, €350 for two new Dunlop SP Sports on the rear in readyness for my trip to Italy this week. Also fitted two new numberplates as the originals were getting a bit scruffy around the edges and didnt have the 'euro flag thingy' on the sides.

Smartened up the plastic as well, especially around the exhausts after recieving some Auto Glym plastic and bumper care gel in the post the other day, this stuff really works wonders on faded greying trim as you can see.

Washed my 8 yesterday, then drove through 800 miles of rain from AL to PA. Guess I'll wash it again tomorrow so it can rain on it again tuesday. lol. I was really impressed with my fuel economy though. Ended up averaging almost 23 miles/gal over the course of the 800+ mile trip.

As I've had the new coilovers on for 3 days, decided to have a blast while it was dry yesterday. Had some fun down the lanes and around roundabouts... lost some traction accelerating in 2nd half way through a roundabout which cr@pped me up a little but all is good...

Drove my car to work for the first time in nearly 3 months. Realized how much slower everyone else was driving compared to when I drive my pickup.

Got new motor mounts installed today, and oil change! All for free because dealership said we bought the car from them so this time it is on them!

Also, one of the service managers there or something installed a free chrome/silver license plate frame for my front license plate. He said he only gives this to rx8 owners he likes. :D

The shifting is so much more smoother with these new mounts, feeeeeels goooooooooood.
