slow to start...battery problem?

Hi: On the 2 occasions I have test driven the rx8 there has been a potential problem with the battery charging. On one occasion the test vehicle was dead before the test drive began and had to be jump started and on the 2nd occasion a diiferent car turned over slowly after having been driven for about 10 minutes and then shut off. Are these nonissues or has anybody been having problems with the car starting or maintaining a charge. Thanks. I really want to buy one of these but am curious about other owner's experiences.

I've read only one post that indicated the same problem. Turned out the user's car battery was not putting out the correct voltage. He got it exchanged at the dealer.. fixed..

yes the one i drove yesterday seemed like the battery was very anemic. my suggestion would be to toss the factory battery and buy and optima either red or yellow top. my red top when tested was putting out about 1440 cranking amps. and they are leak proof to boot.
