I took my car in today for the forth time to have it checked for the 10mpg issue. The last three times they told me after I got there for the appointments there was no Mazda tech available and rescheduled. I took it in at 9:00 Am but later in the afternoon I realized I had forgotten my wallet. I went back at 4pm to pick up my wallet and my car was setting outside with 3 inches of fresh snow. The service manager said they had not started on it as they wanted to get others out the door before the holiday? Hum? So I took my car in on Wednesday and it set all day. Thursday is a holiday and so it sets all day. I bet I don't get it back to next week. I really missed having it as today was our first snow fall. We got 6 inches of wet snow and I was anxious to try out my new snow tires. On another issue, I purchase all-weather Mazda mats on eBay 3 weeks ago. Well FedEx says they are lost. I have to file a claim but their online claim site was down so I am waiting on one in the mail. Today I took my driver’s side regular mat to Auto Zone and found nice rubber mats, black with a wide red stripe and an "R" in small letters "racing".
The car is red and these mats look as though they will fit. $25.00 and they are nice mats. So if anybody is looking try AutoZone.
