Hi - first time member and first post! Had an '84 rx-7 that I loved and one year ago bought a velocity red 2009 RX-8 GS with all red seats - love the car, look, and feel. About 8000 miles on it and no problems except rock in windshield which they replaced poorly then fixed. Flooded once - was getting brave because rx-7 never flooded and lasted 200,000 miles. My rx-8 s-2 always started after letting it warm up for at least 30 seconds before shutting off (when pulling onto driveway to wash). Stalled it last month after five seconds warm-up backing out of garage. Oops. Dealer picked it up and repaired. Lesson learned.

2010, 3.2k, and the blood is just drying from my first oil change this afternoon.

19MPG overall, about 15 city and 22 highway, and I've been adding 1/2 a quart every 500 or so.

 

had the 09 for 2 years now...and with only 14k, yeah i only drive it on the weekends now. i have another daily that i use.

 

Sweet, I wonder who has the highest mileage series II here.

 

I have an 09 with 6k.
