Series II RX-8's, post up your mileage

Bought my 2009 R3 with 24k on it, now it has 30k on it.
Compression test when I bought it - all around 8.5.
Since then I've changed the plugs (and coils with BHR's because I'm paranoid of engine failure) at 26k - were pretty dirty, but not nearly as bad as some of the pictures I've seen on here taken from cars with 10k less miles. I'm hoping that this is a good sign that carbon isn't building up elsewhere in the engine? (I try to make sure it gets to see some hard driving daily.)
When I got the car I was averaging 20.5 mpg (according to UltraGauge) for the first 2k miles of daily driving, then after I changed the spark plugs I started getting 22.1 mpg average for the next 4k miles of my same daily commute (majority highway miles). I did add the BHR coils at the same time as the new plugs, and started premixing shortly after that, so I can't contribute the difference to any 1 thing conclusively, but my money is that it was the spark plugs that made the difference, they were pretty fouled.

I feel like I have a ton on my 8 compared to some other SII owners. I bought my 8 in March 2012 with 28k miles on the clock, and just broke the 47k mile barrier the other day. There is my pilgrimage trip to Mazmart in Atlanta that I made this year, so I suppose it isn't too bad.

The clutch hydraulics push the release bearing onto the pressure plate, neither has any wear material that would change the fluid level. The engagement point of the clutch slowly changes, but the clutch only starts with 3-5mm of material, vs 1/2 to 3/4ths of an inch or so on each of your 8 brake pads.

Hit 7,000 miles today.
New engine was put in at 5,400 miles. Bad apex seals.
Car is certified and has a 7 year powertrain warranty from last Saturday (day I purchased it).
Don't know what my gas mileage is as I haven't had to fill it up yet.

I'm up to 50k miles on my 2009 R3. Thus far, the issues I've experienced are limited to 1) replacing the driver's side window motor (which I had to order and subsequently ship back 3 times before Amazon finally sent me the correct one and not the one for the passenger's side), 2) replaced the battery in the key fob, and 3) hunt down a vacuum leak somewhere in the intake manifold (this would have been resolved weeks ago but med school has been consuming almost every second of my time since January).
After 1 full autocross season with the car, I've been continually asking myself where the car (and not the driver) is deficient, and so far I haven't convinced myself that anything really needs to be changed just yet. While stiffer sway bars (and springs) are continually on my mind, I don't think I'll be changing anything till next seasons when I'm (hopefully) employed and have the funds to do it correctly (sway bars, revalved shocks, new springs, etc). For an "out of the box" type car, the R3 has exceeded my expectations.

63k miles, many track days, 3 set of coils and plugs tho I'm not seeing any benefit to changing so often, and second set of wires. Air bag light can't get fixed by Mazda so I just reset it as needed. Unless on the track I consume about half a quart of oil every1k. Consistanly get 21-23 mpg. Oh, and a new clutch at 55k.

2010 Velocity Red Sport, 25,500 MI, bought it new, no issues, oil changes every 3,000/mi. Still get the same bigass grin on my face as the day I bought it whenever I'm behind the wheel!

2009 VRM Sport - 2nd Owner since 4/2012
- 14,414 miles
8/2014
- 32,217 miles
- Castrol EDGE 10w-30
- Redline MT-90
- Redline 75w-90
- Idemitsu Premix
- BHR Coils w/ MSD 8.5mm Wires
- Optima Red Top Battery
Drivetrain-wise, running good and tip-top. Original engine with very frequent redline visits.
On cold nights when the air is chilly, the engine really perks up and pulls strong.
Fuel Economy is consistent at about 15.5-17 MPG. Most of my driving is city (65/35).
Transmission does have the bad 5th gear synchro. That being said, 5th doesn't grind, but when you shift into said gear, you can feel the synchro "shake" through the shifter every now and then.
Interior-wise, my driver window motor failed. Will have to get replaced. Driver Sun Visor is split as well, but repaired with a DIY.
Passenger Dash has already cracked along the Air Bag break pattern. This is the one that really upset me, seeing as I use a windshield visor and clean interior regularly.

2009 Grand Touring - 29K miles.
Only issues were a persistent check engine light that attributed to an incorrect gas cap sensor. Fixed under warranty.
Also intermittent check coolant level caused by floating sensor.
Otherwise no issues.

As far as the transmission/engine, I have the 7 year / 100k mile Limited Powertrain warranty.
However, concerning the interior bits, I have been told by 2 Mazda dealerships that my warranty doesn't cover it. Also, my B2B expired a while back (2012). I reckon that I will be paying out of pocket for the interior replacements.
