It made me mad (at the ignorance) , then sad, (that he ruined his motor), then LOL, (bc no more posts from the OP who said, "nobody knows my car more than me" and "my sister has an explorer she overheats all the time".

You may want to have the rotary engine compression checked first at a reputable Mazda dealer before digging into light surgery. Compression will tell you if the engine is well on its way to Valhalla.
