CA power steering problems

i have an 04 rx8 wit 71k miles on it. just recently my power steering seems to have started trippin out. Very often when i turn my car on the power steerin light comes on and there's no power steering. It seems to do this almost every other time i start the car. Usually when i turn the car on and it comes on i turn the car off restart it and it usually goes away. ... anyone have any related problems or know what that might be and possible ways to check/fix it??

Take out the Intake air filter box and tray beneath..You will see two connectors.. those are for power steering.. ..one for the power and the other for torque sensor (i think)..

Check and clean them with any electrical contact cleaner....It might be rusted..

You can buy a longer hose and replace and re-route the one on coolant reservoir as this one was directly pointed to the connectors..

Most of the excess coolant dumped directly to it..
