the tire you have in 245/40/18 is 25.7 inches in dia..

the correct dia for the car is 25.9.

you will find that the 225/45/18 is 25.9 inches in dia..

that would be your difference right there...

i didnt have my t1rs yet.

but i was using my ws-50s. 225/50/17. and they are slightly larger than the stockers.

In post 3 he says he is 100% stock at the time the post was made. He probably changed the sig later.

this thread fails in so many ways...

the most obvious being the speed thats shown on your speedo is 2mph less then the speed you get if you directly read the OBD-II system...

from there you can calculate almost a 5% change in tire circumference just from the tire going from 11/32" thread depth to the standard 5/32" when you throw them away...
