So tonight i was leaving a friends house to a party, when my car desides to have a gas leak and blow up..... I was driving to a party, when i noticed the rpm's wouldn't go higher and i was pushing the gass pedel to the floor, so i down-shifted to get the rpm's to shoot back up and when i did nothing happened so i pulled over. When i did so i turned the flashers on and when i did the car busrt into flames on the passenger's side of the car my best friend Rachelle was in the car and she was soo shocked that I had to basically get her out of the car about 5 seconds; soon after we got out the car, it burst into flames like a burnt piece of steak.....the fire department said it was a gass leak..

glad no one was hurt... first story of this, seems to be an isolated situation. i'm guessing the 8 was modded. glad though everyone was okae.

yah fire deparment said it was a fuel leak... i remeber getting out of the car and there is a 20 ft line going back of fire... like in back to the feauture...

 

and yes we got out ok... but if we were there another 5 secs... we'd be toast.

I cleaned the images up a bit so we could see more detail. I'm suprised the windshild did not break out.

 

Not quite the first. Remember arosenkrans a few months back? Hers spontaneously combusted while parked. I believe they traced it to a fuel leak in the engine compartment.
