Wow .. that is insane! At first I thought your thread would be about flames from your exhaust or somehow a poke at how poorly the Calgary Flames did. Glad you are ok.

well if your smelling gass... and my car blew up cuz of a gass leak.. you prolly have gass leaking somewere so i think u should get that checked out.

I smell gas too, but after the engine warms, the smell is gone, and nothing funky has happened yet

Mazda Owes you big time! Thats Messed up!!! What year was that RX-8? I think its time to contact a Lawyer or see what they are offering a New RX-8 and Professional negligence and punitive damages $$$.

Damn thats messed up how did you get home? Keep all your reciepts. Kinda remind you of the Yugo and Pinto fire trouble. Except that I've never heard pf this happening before with RX-8s.

You mean Joe Myers Mazda owes him big time....
MazdaNAO had nothing to do with a tech not attaching a fuel line back up correctly (assuming that is really the cause of the fire)

Yes, but MNAO is the parent organization so they have ultimate responsibility to see that this is taken care of.
