NAW JUST Playing but some condensation in my left rear light. I called Mazda and they told me they were going to change my gasket. When they change it will the condensation go away and will i have any chance of any condesation geting in my right rear light. Btw does warrenty cover this on an 04 rx8 after my BTB warrenty gets expired.

if your car is out of warranty it won't be free. i'd go ahead and change them both. you can order them from here and its a much better price than you will get from your dealer.
and please do not do anything stupid like drilling holes in your tail lights.

yeah out of warranty will not b free so order them from above like Nuke said and don't drill holes idk who thought that up but i really don't think it will work haha!

 

i've seen people that drill holes. it gets the standing water out, but it will still get condensation. it also ruins the reflective coating inside the lens making the light output suck.

 

^yeah i know i wouldn't do it plus if you get water in there around the bulb could case the light to blow or short out the system...

I fixed it by drilling a SUPER small hole in the bottom corner where you cant see it, let it drain out and had it sit in the sun to get the condinsation out as well, then I filled the whole back with a little silicone and put silicone around the whole seam where the clear piece meets the back part. Took like 15 minutes (not including waiting for the condensation to go away) and havent had a prblem in about a year

I took care of tailight water in my daughter's Honda by drilling drain holes. The problem was not just a little fogging over - the thing would fill with water. The bulbs were nicely corroded, and the glass even broke on one of them.

Of course, that car was 10 or 12 years old at the time, and we didn't care about appearance. Just that the tallights would work.
