Im New to the Club :)

Hi im not sure where to post this but im haveing a little problem with my uk 54 rx8. I changed the battery today and now im having trouble when i slow down the revs drop off and the car cuts out? Any idea if changing the batter would cause this if so is there anything i can do to fix it?

it only happened after you changed the battery?

Your car is re-learning the fuel trims. A few drive cycles and your car will be back to normal.

It is possible that when you changed the battery, the ecu lost all it's learned settings. Now it will have to re-learn them. This may take a couple of driving cycles. Wait a day or two before you start to worry.
