Congratz :D

I would skip the vacation and get the 8..... I guess that would be the vacation itself... Use those days to drive it around. I know that I had a hard time concentrating on work the first few days when I got my 8. Just kept looking at the clock, waiting to jump in the car and drive..

Well of course. Don't you remember how you felt when you were younger and would get a new toy or game?

I would stay up super late playing the game or even doing an all nighter then go to class. Then keep playing after school.

I dont see why the 8 should be any different, I mean, it is like a new toy. Been about 2 months since I got my 8, I still find reasons to turn or keep driving when I get to my place spend another 10-15 minutes driving after work.

Right now, my 8 is in the bodyshop getting fixed, and i had a few dreams of driving it... I'm not sure how I will be able to pull through the 4 weeks that it will take for it to be fixed.

I duno, maybe it is just me. I'm quite attached to my 8, I do daily visual inspections and kind of get obsessive about my parking spot and who parks around me. A few people made fun of me at work for parking so far away from everyone and actually going out on my breaks and reparking my car if anyone would park near me...

Hmm, Ima stop now before I jack Eldragon's thread... Sorry for that... :p

Can't wait for you to get your 8, hope you have as much fun with yours as I do with mine....

+1^^
I've had mine almost a year now and still make up excuses to drive it.
I had to cover it for a while during the winter because of lots of snow & needing some work, drove me crazy.
Perfect Sunday morning, clear & low 60's.
Just remembered, I forgot to get something at the store.

******* sketchy drama!!!!! Since I had to go out of town the deal couldn't go through. So we decided that we'd wait until I get back on the 6th to finish the transaction. But now he's selling it to his buddy dealer and I'm buying it from them with a wonderful bumper to bumper platnum 2 year 24k mile warranty (allstate) The price is staying the same, however now I'm paying an extra 900~$ for taxes and other fees ~_~ such a load of bullshit.

that's kind of a douchey thing to do. I can understand the guy needing to sell the car asap, but if he had a pretty much guaranateed sale from you it surely wouldn't have killed him to wait a few days.

At least the price stayed the same, but it is lame that you got stuck with dealer fees on top of that. Sounds like the car will be worth it, at least, and you got a warranty out of the deal for extra peace of mind.

How's the car look anyways? From the sounds of it it's pretty sharp.
