I thought peoples main problem with actual street racing is that the person may unknowingly injure someone else other than themselves or put random people at risk that should not be.

I do not see any problem with people racing on private land, thats perfect. If he wants to race where only his buddy and him can get injured then thats fine with me, there is no potential for killing some lady crossing the street or any of that. Basically if he wants to risk killing or seriously injuring himself at a spot that is probably a pretty good distance from a hospital that is his own personal choice on his own land.

I have seen a few people hit a things in a field on a quad and it generally does not end well, you are probably safer trying to race a car on a road like he is doing.
