wont turn over

wont turn over

has anyone had problems when u go to start rx8 and you shove in clutch n nothing happens when key is turned ? (battery good , checked , just wont turn over . fliddle around with shifter and clutch and it will start but takes few trys and average 5-10 mins. any help or insight appreicated

no click or anything? just dead silence when you turn the key?

yes nothing at all than just starts rite up after awhile of trying

maybe bad clutch pedal switch?

^ Possible... could also be a loose connection somewhere between the ignition and starter that just isn't making proper contact. On the other hand, you'd most likely hear a clicking then.

I've never heard of this issue before to be honest, I'd like to hear how it gets resolved

bad clutch pedal could result in not pushing the switch enough. or the switch itself.
