treat your rx nice! I still haven't redlined it.. and i'm about 1100miles heh..
most i went was probalby 6k.. and that was after 1000 miles..

and i happen to like my alien sounding engine.... ufo's are awesome..
Ya the 06's WRX are just nasty in the front. They are good handling, fast cars, but no styling... IMO.
Well morally I'm distraught by over-reving her, but it'd be worse technically, then I'd just be sad for not treating my baby right .

This guy can't be taken for seriously. Read through all of his posts. He's clearly a troll.

Dayam, You know, I have heard bad things about piston engines.

DUDE, did you know that those things have timing chains/belts. Stick your finger in there around the cam gear while the engine is running and BAM, lose a finger everytime. Should recall them *****.

I must say I love the exhaust sound of the WRX STI. I don't know how much it compares to the WRX, but the STI has a very deep, throaty note, esp at low RPMs, so I am always waken up as the room resonates from the exhaust, when my roommate leaves for work early.

I don't understand how Porsche makes their horizontally opposed engines sound so sweet, and Subaru, ummm .... doesn't. Man, nothing better than a 911's sound, but a WRX has this weird sort of "out of synch" noise to it. Like a twin-piston engined airplane without the ignition synch operating.

oh but there is Astral. Krankor even found the sticky thread in suggestions
suggestions where i posted the following-

I have finally managed to get around to updating the FAQ. you can find what i have done so far here . If you see any corrections that need to be made or have a suggestion for a Qand A post it here. Please feel free to write an actual QandA with links if you have/want them and submit it here. i will conntinue to work on it as time permits and fix/add anything posted here that i can and that is relevant.

After a few weeks, once its all compiled, this will get turned from a series of posts into a more official looking vb page FAQ.

thanks all
-charlie
note the section i put in bold its very time consuming to write an FAQ and all help is welcome.

Yes. Yes I did. I found it at the bottom of a locked filing cabinet, in a dis-used lavatory with a sign on the door saying 'Beware of the leopard.'.

As I recall, what was there was pretty good; my main complaint remains that it is relatively difficult to find, and ought to be front and center, the *first* thing a newbie sees when they come here.
