Aerospace Engineer here and also a pilot. I'd love to get that Renessis into a small homebuilt aircraft.
My roomate in college had an '83 RX7, and that's when I caught the bug. It was a lot more fun to drive than my VW Scirocco. I've owned 3 VW's and 3 Mazda's over the last 15 years.
My wife is an Electrical Engineer, and she won't drive an automatic. RX8 6SP-GT fits us well.

I'm in a building full of engineers, but I'm the only one with an RX8.....maybe it just hasn't caught on here yet. That ok! I like having the only sexy car in the parking lot. 
A couple of 350Z's, corvettes, charger, mustang....yep, I have the only RX8.

One more engineer here. Electrical, working in power, especially DC. Think 750Vdc and 2000A. I test drove a new 1980 RX-7 while still in college, and have since owned '81, '83, '85, and '88 RX-7s. I was initially attracted to the 350Z when I went shopping for a new sports coupe, but one drive in the 8 convinced me it is a better all-around sports car.
Now if I just made more time to drive it.....

Tally up another engineer.
believe it or not my degree is in Plastics Engineering, work for Chevron Phillips Chemical. First time to come across this thread, I work with ALOT of engineers and everyone loves my car...i am also the youngest person in the company, don't see many of these older guys owning an 8 for some reason. :P

Nuclear Engineer here...Northrop-Grumman...I also really enjoyed the article that described the Renesis as the Mac OS X of engines...could be I like that because I have 3 iMacs myself

I'm an Electrical Engineer that designs glass cockpit avionics for homebuilt aircraft. When we designed an engine monitor I made sure that the RPM input could monitor a rotary at 10K+ RPM

Flipping houses is buying a house as an investment (often a reposessed home) and then doing some work on it and selling it at a profit. If the market is really hot you can just hold it for awhile and still make money on it without doing anything to it. It is going on a lot in the past couple of years but to make it work over the long term you really do have to know what you are doing.
