Consequences of a crazy ex-girlfriend

often they wont total it even for extensive "cosmetic" damage.
i had a honda accord once stolen from the NJ State Fair. I had full coverage and on the 30th day when they should have been cutting a check the Philly police called and they had found the car stripped in NE Philly.
I paid only 8k for the car and they paid 9500 to put the car back together because they said since there was no frame damage it was better to put it back together than total it. they also paid for 67 days of car rental.

she is stupid. i won the first case over her being stupid with text messages. i already went after them again, i can almost guarantee that she was saying things about it to her friends and her boyfriend too. she will just bury herself again in court. and cmon 3 DAYS AFTER THE CASE?!?! lol at least wait a month or so to not make it so obvious. lol

Thing is, those are not part of the frame. Those are body panels. A car sitting still taking damage from someone throwing objects at it won't likely get called totaled unless the value to replace all the parts to new exceeds the cost of buying one the same year/mileage. Unless your car is worth less than 4k, that's not gonna happen.
In accidents that involve just the body panels it's a different story since the question of integrity of the frame after sustaining a wreck is in the air even though the frame looks fine. A lot of insurance agencies don't want to deal with all the fixes required to get the car aligned up again and the safety question issue it brings up to what possibly is messed up in the frame or structural integrity of the car that can't be seen visually.

You talk to a lawyer about the process for collecting a judgment in your county, state, etc.
Sometimes, when you win a judgment there will be a payment period specified.
If it's a 30-day period (for instance) go back to the court on the 31st day and start the the process for getting a Sheriff's order to collect.
If you have the individuals or organizations checking account #, sometimes you can get an order to collect against that account then you walk into their bank and withdraw.
