Consequences of a crazy ex-girlfriend

- Won a lawsuit against my ex-girlfriend on Wednesday - 1700$
- The look on her face =
- 3700$ worth of damage with a brick to my 8 on Friday night.
- Pics coming soon... if I can bring myself to take them. Almost makes me wanna use the *C* word.
- Here are a few pictures that I took last night. I have it in my garage and couldn't get the passenger side/interior pics to really show up.
- UPDATE UPDATE : Just got done with my last adjuster. 8,7650$ = Totaled. They are gonna use the car for a salvage. If I'm right, this is now a felony. We'll see what happens.

Now the problem is collecting the money from the judgment. Threaten to have her charged with something like Criminal Damage to Property, if she doesn't pay.

Garnishing the wages is what I'm gonna do for the law-suit. Thats not the issue. I meet with my Insurance guy to go over whether or not I am gonna just total the car out. I have pics on my phone, just don't have a digital camera. I will try and get one today and get some pics up.

I'm confused...so you won a lawsuit THEN she threw a brick through your car or she did so and you sued/won the case? If so the financing doesn't add up...if not then what did you sue her for originally?

I sued her and had won my case against her for 1700$ on Wednesday. Then on Friday night, she went ape shi* on my 8 with a brick... that she nicely left on my passenger seat.

I don't think he needs an eye witness. She needs anger management classes.

Al, while I understand she is likely under probable cause, thing is unless he can prove that she did it or evidence then it's his word vs hers. She left the brick in his seat, that doesn't tell him who did it unless she left a note.

you want to "total the car out" because of a brick through your window?
that doesn't make sense.

treaven, did she leave a note with the brick or you just saw a brick laying in your seat and know it's her without a doubt?

well considering she told me that if i did sue her (over the original law-suit) to "watch" was gonna happen. then she was bragging about it saturday night to my buddy, whom of which that she didnt know, at the bar. i wanted to keep quiet about it so she would start running her mouth, which she did. he said that he would testify for me so, i mean, i dont know how much more i would need. hopefully that would be enough.

That should do then if your buddy heard directly from her threats.

I don't see an insurance company "totalling" an RX-8 for $3.7k worth of damage.
get it fixed or sue her again. Should be interesting to see her reaction to another summon.

In a civil case, you don't have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. You only have to show that it was most likely her that did it. With the previous judgment, that shouldn't be a problem. Then you have a witness that can testify what she told him.
