Banging noise.. =( HELP!

so a few days ago my boyfriend was driving my car and when we were stopped at a red light, he let up from the brake a little and there was this banging noise and he said something was wrong but i let it go.. then today, i drove it and accelerated off and the car wasn't as loud as usual (it's stock)? and so i tried braking again at a light and letting up off the brake slowly and it was hardcore banging, haha.. i'm really pissed. now that my attention is drawn to it.. also when i drive on a straight rode, i hear it bang to. it's bad. not loud but boy it's annoying. really.. help.. idk if the engine is either flooded, my ecu needs to be reset or a transmission problem but if this has ever happened to you, please let me know! thanks!

where is the noise coming from?

maybe its as simple as something loose and moving around in the trunk?

have you had a brake service recently?

engine flooding is not related to this banging noise since your car would not start at all if flooded.

if ur engne was flooded it wuldent run...? Let us knw wht year, mt or at, and have u checked ur brake fluid and for anything stuck in between the rotors and pads? I dunt think the noise level wuld have anything to do wit it if it was a brake problem. Have you narrowed it down to where the banging is coming from?

No, it sounds like its under me .. but I know its the tranmission. No, I haven't had a brake service lately. I'm heading to Mazda tomorrow, but I'm just nervous because I need to drive my car to work in the morning.. will it be okay?

Do you have an auto? If you do, it won't be okay.

You're right, it wouldn't run. It's at 2006, AT. I actually have not checked my brake fluid. I'm taking it to Mazda tomorrow, but I'm just concerened because I have work tomorrow morning, do you think I will be alright driving?
