it's funny how mazda never revealed the official part list for this warranty, it says but yet they look for any excuse to deny engine replacement to those RX8 owners

I noticed a nice difference in mine.
I now have an RX8 Body with 85,000 on it and an engine with about 12,000.
CHeck my earlier posts in this thread. I scanned the work orders into the thread.
To date... nearly $12k worth of warranty work done.

excuse my language but holy ****** **** it feels so nice... completely new car the clutch feels so much different than before my car actually idles now instead of chocking and dying like when it used to have cancer... the messed up part is my airbag light is on and my horn dosant work... gonna bring it in on thursday for all that but other than that if you get the reman you will not be dissapointed the best part is i nought the car with 76k and now its brand new... gonna work on my upgrades asap
If an 8 dies and is just out of warranty or Mazda refuses to cover the rotary core for some BS reason, what is the cost for a new engine? I remember reading $6k somewhere. Is that for a new engine plus labor for installation, and new hoses, gaskets, etc.? What's the out of pocket cost for getting a good reman (to spec) installed including labor and needed parts?
My guess would be that Mazda will void your warranty if you tell them you use diesel oil as it is specifically engineered for diesel engines. Just like they void warranty's for full synthetic oil, cold air intakes, exhausts and so on. Whether or not you can convince them to perform the warranty work is another matter.
As for diesel, I just looked at the pdf for Mobil1 Turbo Diesel full syn 0W-40. It states that it is "recommended for all types of modern vehicles". It meets or exceeds API CF, ACEA A3/B3 and A3/B4. The only warnings it includes is that it doesn't recommend it for 2-stroke or aviation engines. Any of the GA diesel oil users have more information?
quick question...if you get the reman from mazda would you consider it to have 0mi on it because it is remanufactured? i got mine and they gave me nothing but the milage that was on it when they finished the work should i get my first oil change at 500mi of driving?? any suggestions
update... talked to them made them seem like ******** kept my cool now everything is working horn sounds different tho and my speakers sound blown but whatever got alot of money coming in to upgrade soon cant wait what u think bout the greddy exhaust
