Looking good man.

For best results put water inlet to the bottom of the intercooler and water outlet from the top.

Also what size fittings are you using for the water in/out adapter on the engine? -16AN?

You also want to flow the water from the intake toward the turbo. That way the coolest water is cooling the coolest charge air.

It can make a significant difference.

Because i bought the xtreme adaptor which is capable of an20, i went with those BUT before i realized the the EWP only has an16. So i am gonna go 20 to 16. Not really sure it matters, what it will do is increase the water capacity with the larger diameter hoses- maybe?? Is there anything negative about doin this?

It will be a drift car, so potentially the problem could be worse. Tho i will use a high quality EWP and cooler for the job.

I am going to run tests at the track with both this cooler and the front mount i also have. I will test temps for both setups under identical conditions. Will keep u all posted on the results.

I AM setting it up so that i can do a quick change of pipes n routing of said pipes.

I will test intake temps right at the TB and also pressure. I cant wait to find out- for myself.

The intercooler has 2 water holes in it. You want to put your cool water into the hole that is closest to the throttle body. Then your hot water will exit from the side closest to the turbo.

Is the turbo water cooled as well (doesn't look it from what I can see)? If so, will you be running the turbo thru that system as well? What size heat exchanger will you be using?

Its oil cooled, but regardless you don't want to run your turbo coolant through that system.

He just wants to see someone make stuff more complicated and do a separate turbo coolant system, which I think is dumb lol.

I've never stopped to consider how little I actually know about this build- but right now I'm totally stumped on what radiator to use!!!???
Obviously I have to work within the physical confines of the build, but, 2-3core, 2-3row, 2-3-4 way pass?? Confused!! And how much is enough for a big HP 20b??
Anyone??

Thinkin koyo or mishimoto

You should try a Ron Davis radiator all aluminum or Koyo n flow. I went with the Koyo n flow for my build. I made brackets to mount it and now I'm trying to get the best mounting position to keep the radiator, intercooler, and condenser stacked close together as I m keeping the ac for my build.after that I can run piping and make a custom belly tray or see if one already available fits my application...the Koyo n flow cools the coolant better by applying a double pass system and slowing down the coolant (enough time to cool it as much but still keeping enough being transferred to the block) allowing for better temperature coolant to reach the block. The research I did on other 20b applications applying this radiator have yielded great results plus the radiator itself is not in an outrageous price range. ;-)

And yes, if that is the excessive low profile lower intake plenum with 6 injectors and have the 9 injectors total you will have more than enough fuel to the block. What kind of injectors did you purchase? I suggest you check the way the injectors sit as you might need to modify a bit this area. Fuel leaks are bad once you turn the key. On a side note I hope you have plenty of gas stations around as you will be visiting them more than you think haha Great build man

Awesome!! Thanks. I'll be adding the ac compressor too soon, but in the old alt position as I've changed my mind and this will now be my daily.
