This is probably overkill to make this post on this thread, but it might push a fence-sitter over the edge. Moon Assad will be installling my Pettit Supercharger next week on the first leg of his "SuperChargers Across America" Tour. If anyone in central Virginia wants one of these blowers professionally installed, this is your opportunity. Moon will install the blower and road test to insure the job is done right. If you're interested, call Pettit Racing and make arrangements.

For a "professional" install I would suggest those considering this kit take it to Pettit, or fly CRH to you.

I would consider an install by moon as "professional" as he has done several installs at pettit already...and some people can not afford to ship their car to WPB or fly CRH in...

just my 2cents..

Speaking strictly for myself and slighting nobody, I can say that my primary concern is the satisfaction of my clients, even to the point of it being at my own expense and requiring follow-up visits should they become necessary. For installs as extensive as this I generally fly/drive myself in.
Ray - is that your new logo??

Sorry, I'm not so good at reading between the lines. Maybe you'd care to elaborate.

Or maybe you wouldn't.

At any rate, we'll just scratch your name off the list. How's that work for you, big guy?

I see you motto speaks for you. How to make friends and influence people are not in your makeup. "Pissing off the world one person at a time" I think you should be happy cuz your now working on more than one person.

My feelings exactly - best thing I have done since buying my 8 is to have joined this club/forum. There are still nice people that want to help others out there.

I know this is WAYYYYYY off topic now - but it is not goth; street rock and roll / punk.

The apparel is an offshoot of his band Strongarm and the Bullies (on iTunes BTW)

If you have heard of Dropkick Murphy's then it would be a similar genre.

I must run with a different crowd or live a sheltered life - I understand Goth and have seen punk but not sure this fits ether. Oh well it takes all kinds . Maybe some of the local youngins have seen this before or have heard of your brother, I'll ask.

Quite possibly. Let's see, I'll recap. I think I missed something:

I tossed out a prop, very sincerely, to other RX8 owners. You backhandedly dissed it without having the cojones to actually come out and say what you mean, which I'm taking to be that you don't think Moon is up to the job. Correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe we better call Pettit right away; can't have some rogue mechanic out there ******' up the blower installs. I'll call Cam again, I spoke to him yesterday. I'll alert him to the danger. Especially since you're too intent on making backhanded comments and not making substantive contributions.

I've lurked around here long enough to know that ******** abound. You can spot'em easy, they usually start their posts with "BWAHAhhahahahaaaaaaaaaaa" or something similar. Usually because of 'shortcomings' in the intelligence area. And Phil, I really misjudged you. Point out to me how I've actually done anything to insult you or anybody else. Or maybe you're a cheap shot artist too, just like everything else in Vegas: all mouth and bling and no substance. At any rate, don't toss smack and not expect it to come back. BTW, I'd put myself in the running with Charles and Shinka for the oldest one here. And yes, I do tend to live up to my signature line, but only because I don't let people get up in my face for no reason. When I push back, that's what tends to **** people off.

Can you feel it?

Sorry to be thick, Charles, but I don't think he was. It seemed more like he was grinding an axe on my post. Maybe you get it because you're more familiar with him, but like Mork was kind enough to point out, I have "shortcomings" and "haven't done my homework". It was not my intention to **** on any parades here, but at the same time I'm suddenly having an out-of-body experience ever since I tried to do something positive. Maybe you can elaborate beyond, uh, what was it mork said....oh yeah: "BWAAAAAAhahahahahaa" or something equally informative. The gist I'm getting is that Mork and others feel it's a mistake to have Moon do this install. I can't say for sure because nobody has the guts to come out and say what they really mean other than to try and take it out on the new guy.

So I'll pose the question: Does Mork, or anybody else, have reservations about Moon doing this install, and if so, why? If not, what did I miss?

I think if your looking for ******** you might try lookin in the mirror. I guess your ashamed of where you live cuz you don't even have it in your bio. Vegas is a town of illusion and fantasy does not promote itself any other way. You come out of the blue and attack people that have been posting and helping people for quite a while. Why would you do this? Jealous? I will be ignoring any further of your comments since they do not offer any insight or constructive criticism. I could not really care what you think of me. The only people that I would care about are members of this forum/thread that are constructive and not just a troll type trying to start a problem where none exists.

Damn. Good deflection. I was right.

Still no answer to the main question, Phil? Remember? Moon? Pettit? That little "help" thing you mentioned? I'm looking for help here. A little focus, please?

Don't let Moon touch your car he has only been apart of aprox. 10 installs including 3 meth kits and is at the shop working on the S/C and related prodcuts about 6 days a week. Not enough expierience if you ask me.

It won't get done in a timely manner as he checks and rechecks everything.

Damn perfectionist.
