I just looked it up on the Mazda Canada website and it states that it is 4.444 as the final drive for both AT/MT. As far as availability, it's my understanding that this wouldn't be something you can swap out by the dealer because they don't stock this. At least I haven't heard anyone here in Canada that have done this mod. I am hesitant to call up my dealer and ask them because they aren't very technical people. They will most likely look at me like I got two heads.

 

Thank you for the leg work. I was told by a gentleman that Mazda offers a 4.78 ring and pinion for the RX-8, Thought it might be available in Canada but it must be a JDM OE item.

im very interested! any word on sound clips?

 

I will be dependant on the customers that I have preorders on to post a sound clip due to the fact that by the time I get mine instock they will all have a name on them. I only have 2 left that dont have anybodys name on them and one of those may be pre-ordered this evening.

As for the sound all I can tell you is what I have been told by Mazda, Aggresive but not annoying.

I have no idea whet the HP gain should be. It will be similar to aftermarket setups. The biggest value is the warranty retension that these items allow.

I should have some more exhaust's in late Feb early Mar.
