Dude everyone that is asking for clips have to wait we didn't even receive an eta on this thing yet. I doubt you would get a video clip of this until one of us gets this thing installed. I will post a sound clip once I get the exhaust in.

OEM is 2.5 in, You would not be charged for it until the day it ships to you. We only accept MC or Visa, I can E-bill you through PayPal but for that thier would be a 3% surcharge for that.

I'm interested, but I too am waiting for a sound clip and some pictures. Is the muffler constructed of stainless steel and are the tips double walled? I've heard if the tips are single walled they discolor like the RB one do. Is this true?

Again, I would like to see pictures of the MS muffler installed. I'm hoping the tips don't stick too far out.

Dang, I won't confirm yet like the others, but this is really tempting.

the true final design has yet to be released so it will be hard for me to confirm or deny the tips. As for construction that I can tell you for sure will be all stainless as to what grade I would suspect at least 304.
They are designing so that the tips stick out no farther than OE.
We had a RX-8 in the air yesterday so I verified the stock midpipe dia. at 2 3/8" O.D.

Again, the kit isnt out yet. It will be soon enough but there are no pictures or sound clips yet. Im just saying BAGMAN1 will post it up when he gets it and he doesnt have it yet.

The Rosenthal site has this available for order at full price. does that mean he has it or it will just be another one of those parts that goes on backorder do you think.

I have been in constant contact with Mazda and as of Wed. the word was that I Should be hearing some firm info probably Mon. as far as a true ETA and if the final design was modified in any way.
So to answer your question finally, sorry for the segway, Yes it will go on back order with any Mazda dealer you order it from. I do know that I do have a couple spare ones on order with no name on them, if you are interested on getting on the list.

Just go to the website scroll about 1 in down the page to the group buy box. Click on that and the rest is simple.

I just placed my order. Can't wait to hear the first sound clips of it and have it on my car. What kind of sound do any of you picture the exhaust sounding like?

I thank all of you for your support.

My belief is that even if someone may not buy from me they still deserve the same level of customer service that I give to all my customers.

By the way if there are any of you reading this that live in Canada could you do me a favor? Call your local Mazda dealer and see what gear ratio's are available on the RX-8.

Yeh I know, I'm a Mazda Dealer but I have no access to that info. Any help would be great, PM me with the Ratios if anybody finds them, Thanks.

I have 8 so far with 2 pre ordered exhausts with no name attached to them. I should have some updated info on avail. and final design this week. So keep your eyes here. I will probably start a completely new thread on the new info.

Just heard from my contact at Mazda that they are in the final steps on the exhaust and I should hear something very shortly on an ETA.

There where no true design changes to talk of other than getting the tips to sit in the position.

will updtae when I know more,

Just to let everybody know that they have set a tentative ETA on the exhausts. I should see them @ 18 Feb. I do have a couple without a name on them if anybody is interested.

As the date gets closer I should have a more solid date. I will e-mail those that have pre-ordered the date that their CCard will be charged.

Thank you for your patience through this whole matter,

Do you mean the ratios of each gear? I believe it is in the brochure. Let me know, I'll see what I can dig up. I'm positive it is the same everywhere else though.

Acctually what I am looking for is the available ring and pinion ratios. I was told that there was supposed to be a 4.78 gear available in Canada.

Thanks,
JMBaggie
