Well, Matt and I are going to meet at the Southcenter Barnes and Noble parking lot at 6am or so on Saturday to head down to packwood. We might be able to meet at a more sensible hour on Sunday, we'll see.
Edit: Looking through old emails, seems like 6am used to get me there on the late side of on time from Kirkland...

Day 1 complete! I'll post pictures and video in a bit. George had suspension problems but reportedly he'll be there tomorrow, so it was just Mike and I holding down the fort against a sea of AWD...
We were both 60ft'ing a little over 3 seconds (3.1-3.2), Karl was 60ft'ing in 2.2x seconds in his WRX while Eric 60ft'ed in 1.9 seconds in his GTR. Rain sucks

So Pro Solo's are really interesting. If the two sides of the course were each 45+ seconds, it would be WAY better than a normal autocross. However, because they're around 30 seconds, it's fun but a regular autocross is better.
This was my first time at a Pro Solo or doing a drag start in general. As such, I'm not embarrassed to say that yes, my reaction times sucked, generally around 1.1 seconds compared to Arrrrx-8's 550-600ms

I love Packwood's indoor Pits!
NS5 Grid (You can just see my 8, then Arrrrrx-8's is on the left):

And... the rainbow we had in the morning:

I tried sticking my camera to the windshield since it was dry. I wish I'd remembered how much faster my car is when it's dry...

Yah! Sunday's course was awesome. 75 seconds long for me, lots of interesting camber and several points where I was into the shift beep in 2nd. By the way, it's a lot harder to hear the shift beep with the new exhaust at full throttle .
