Yeah we'd do a drive on Sunday. I got your PM and have updated you on the list.

We officially have 8 deposits and all slots full!

I will put in the expected cost next to each person.

so i just read this page http://www.kitoautosport.com/dyno.html? and they say "no snow tires" are you guys going to switch them out for the dyno and then put them back on since it is the middle of winter? how do the snow tires affect the dyno?

If it comes to it, we can keep switching the wheels off one car...

Let me call Mike and find out. I suspect he means no chains or studded tires that could tear up his dyno. I suspect "regular" snow tires are fine.

I don't have snow tires - so this BIG FREEZE better be over by then, or I will trailer the nemesis car up there.

I can chuck a set in the truck if I drive it up as well.....275 Nittos on 9.5" wheels They need heat cycling anyway

Or a set of stock wheels/tires

I can also chuck in a bunch of tools....Jeff you want anything in particular?

Nope. Thanks, though.

This isn't a wrench-fest for me.
Not that I won't help people out if there are problems.
But if your car is broke, don't bring it to the dyno.

As Shaun mentioned - make sure your ignition is up to snuff.
Bad coils are the #1 reason for ugly, low-power dyno plots.

Hotel for Sat night(dannobre (dan), and Nemsis8 (Kevin).

I checked out the Silver Cloud Inn which Shaun said was closest to his house. For one night with tax it was 172.00. That includes 2 Queen beds 42" plasma and other stuff. Kinda pricey unless someone wants to split. I'll bring my xbox 360 with a bunch of games if anyone is interested. This a great option for people that may not live in Seattle but want to stay down there and attend group drive next day. I don't mind sleeping on floor so we could get at least 3 ppl all together to split cost. Let me know what you all think if not interested I'll probably just get a single room for myself.

Forgot to include Grouch.... Sorry Get back to me guys

Thanks Sean - maybe I'll come up Friday night also.

Hey Jeff, do you need to know that I have the Mazsport ignition? I'm not FI, so the dwell settings have not concerned me much.

Jeff,

Would it be better for the MM AP users to get started with submitting their datalogs to you ahead of time to get the scaling calibrations set before the dyno weekend? Would this save us time on Saturday or does it not matter?

She said she hasn't been out of the house in 5+ days.

Rain=clear roads up here. It's not like AZ or something where it has to be 80 degrees and sunny or something. Rain qualifies in my book.

Since everyone registered is already an AP user, I am only bringing the one AP that was ordered for this event.
If anyone else wants one, please order it the usual way by January 5th and I will bring it with me (and refund the shipping charge).

As Jeff said above folks who already have an Accessport please download Jeff's baseline for your application and follow his instructions to get your baseline engine calibration set up before he comes up.

you can find instructions in this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/mazdamaniac-183/new-mazdamaniac-base-calibrations-162263/
