dont know what the 8 did exactly yet as they emailed me the wrong files but i think it was somewhere around 267 peak but dont know torque.

i did solve my brakes issue with a new caliper slide pin that pdx and then dannobre suggested. thanks for the easy fix guys!

there are some open questions on the 8 still but very happy with the ms3's performance... you can really feel the change there. wow. the 8 feels about the same as it did before.

on a side note, about 40 minutes from home, my ticking / clanking noise came back. The first time this happened it was the water pump pulley. This time however, it seems farther back in the bell housing. Might drop the tranny and check out the clutch pressure plate bolts and stuff. While I had the hood up, I was talking to Dan on the cell. He could hear it in the background, and when I went to lower my cell phone closer - the sound completely stopped! wtf?
I jumped in and drove home.
