HERE'S YOUR PROGRESS! Wiring started today.

 

Is that engine in place fully?

 

Yes motor and transmission are fully in place.

 

Man, tight fit. I am curious to see what you do with the intake.

 

Isn't that a pretty good rake on the engine? Is that going to affect the oil level etc too?

Will the Hood clear or will a cut out be required?

 

Hood clears just fine. intake is the least of my worries that is super easy. the pick up is in the rear so no the rake wont mess wit the oiling of the motor. its just about the same rake wise as any other LS we have done.

Now it's time for the tough part, the wiring.

 

I'm still trying to understand the how the rake and the drivetrain angles are going to work long term.

 

I'm with you. I wish these guys all the best but I've done LOTS of LSx cars, swaps and such and that kind of driveline angle looks like a recipe for lots of problems down the road. Time will tell.

 

Looks like you guys are starting to tackle to steering rack and ecu issues.
