Wiring definitely taking some time. Speaking of rake, we compared it to a Silverado sitting in the shop not too long ago. They sit almost the same. I think the pictures make it look worse than it really is

Then you have the rebuilding of the engine after a short amount of time, because regardless of the condition they say it was in you never really know.

Once all that is complete you should be good to go.

I'm sure there are some little things I left out, lots of unknowns with a project like this.

I've seen a few people try and fail right around where you are at with this build. Getting the engine in is the easy part.
Bump....

Measure how far the driveshaft comes straight out of that Silverado transmission before there is a U joint at an extreme angle. I bet it also has a support bearing on the chassis at the end of that long shaft to keep it in line. This keeps the potential shock and flex away from the tranny. To do the same on your low RX8 with that engine rake you'd have the driveshaft digging a foot into the ground under the diff. Instead you have an abrupt and unsupported U-joint at an aggressive angle shortly out of the Tailshaft. ALL U-joints create vibration. Those at steep angles create a lot of vibration. Yours is all at your tailshaft. I suspect this will cause issues next year when the car is running.

What degree is it setting at? Mine is setting at 4 and I have no issues. Yours -looks- to be 8-12 which will cause major issue gettting oil to the front of the crank (at high RPM's). I was always told no more than 5 degree on LS motors..... Not sure if that is to safe but I live to it.

I wanna see the dyno, 0-60 and 1/4 mile.

Very curious to see if all that work was worth it.
