yea, i better report that. i have such thin skin..

i do wonder why the swap guys spend so much time here. if they put half the time into the project they started, they still would be nowhere close to completing it..

Yeah probably. Swaps are never in my top priorities anyway. Quicker is usually more expensive. I'll probably crank it up this weekend. Just gotta mount the battery and run the cable.

More like 50.
If I had high school kids, I think I'd have them take a close look at Vo-tech.
The cost-benefits ratio of higher education is getting wider all the time.

I'm not paying full price for school for my kids. If they aren't busting their *** going after scholarships then they are gonna do their time. I did six years after seeing the debt mountain I'd be under if I got loans. Plus like BigCajun said if she comes home with an interest in a degree in Art or Journalism I'm gonna hand her a pile of retail apps bc she may as well get a head start.

Someone should swap in two Mazda K8 engines with a shared crankshaft.

I do agree with choosing a major that will make money, but I would encourage you to wait and see what she turns out to be. Remember that while education is getting more expensive more jobs require more education. Poor kids these days are getting shafted at both ends. Just remember that's not her fault

My parents initially paid for my college and the plan was to have me pay it back. I pulled fantastic grades, dealt with a lot of crap, and managed to get a job right out of college. My parents were so thrilled that they basically only made me pay back the loan they took out to pay my final few semesters. 6 months later I am already done with my debt (just finished yesterday!). Obviously I would not be able to build my car if I didn't get so lucky. My parents are fantastic people. Mind you we aren't rich either, just middle class like most of america.

Don't be too worried about it. Start a savings, budget, and you can send her to school and build your Rx8.
