Yeah, log, mine sucks pretty much 5 days a week for the last 2 1/2 years.
Especially when I hit triple digits straightening out a particular stretch of sweeping S curves on the interstate at 4:30 in the morning.
But then, I remember how gutless my 8 is, and I get so sad.

That just means you need to replace your bald tires.

That doesn't make sense.
I guess HP & torque guys don't understand "straightening curves".
All about light to light I guess.

Btw, new Bridgestone Potenzas on it now.

All of that piston up and down motion seems to be derailing LSXREX rather easily. We can keep it straight even spinning in circles.

There's no argument.
Some deluded people with the ability to operate jacks and wrenches and their preconceived notions about the supposed inferiority of the rotary engine imagine they know how to improve on a finely tuned machine with decades of engineering behind it, and then try to convince people who know better that their piston powered pipe dreams are worth the time, money, and effort that they waste on them.

Who said this was an argument for just piston swaps? If you want to go fast then the Renesis has to come out one way or another.

Suggestion: Why don't we have two separate forums? One for purebred sweet rotary goodness swaps and one for bastard craprastic pissedon rubbish swaps ... ?

Not really. Dumping a lot of weight will get you faster too.

How about replacing the interior, frame, and body with something weighing half as much? Effectively doubles your power without touching the motor.

And yes, it's doable

Someday we might have an active admin that can do that...

It's on my radar if I ever make that step.
