Frankenstein Fun Thread Let it all Rip!
Usually I rev with them and build up the suspense
and when the light turns green I just stay or roll off as normal and let them peel off and launch like idiots. Hands downs most fun thing to do.
Why didn't I think of that!?
Awesomely funny, I will definitely do that!
LSREX, how about you go read them: RX8Club.com - FAQ: RX8Club.com Forum Rules

It was never a 'no rules' thread. It was a 'gloves off' thread. Feel free to get all argumentative and beligerant toward other people about swaps, as long as you stay within the rules. Keeping it here keeps it out of the actual build threads, preventing them from being derailed.
'Lounge'-like threads have always enabled this level of freedom, where as specific topic threads have not.

I doubt any of us would agree that 200 is 'major', since it's what a stock 8 can do. FI that only gets 200 is just as much of a 'bad build' as the half assed budget swap attempts we see.
They go in the same category there.
They go in the same category there.

There are countless of so called "good builds" that fail to deliver in that section.

I was unaware that it required coolaid to see that 200whp is what stock 8's get
What you say doesn't make any sense.
Are you the one calling them good? You shouldn't. They aren't.

What If You Stuck A V8 Made Of Two Motorcycle Engines In A Subaru BRZ?
I could see enjoying that engine quite a lot.
It led me to contemplating what an LS engine would be like if all parts were exactly 50% smaller. It would want to rev higher due to the lighter weight, obviously smaller displacement would mean lower torque and HP, but even lighter, even smaller in dimensions, and it would probably sing fantastically.

Those cars are freaks. Alright guys thats too much nice talk. This is the beating forum. GM motors are gauges on miles to the motor. Rotaries use the motors per mile measure. I wonder how many people woke up this morning listening to the sound of minutes of starter motor and flooded cavities (cant say cylinders)
