A 13B Renesis rotary engine.

What do you want to swap? Wheels? Engine? Interior? Whole car?

If you have an automatic and would rather have a manual (or vice versa) the best swap is the whole car - sell what you have now and buy what you want.

If you have a blown engine, the most affordable swap is another Renesis.

No such thing as an "affordable" swap if you are looking to do one on a reasonable budget.

Lsx swap seems the most straightforward. I've seen a bunch of swap kits out there that claim to come with everything you need. I could be wrong though (still a noob with rx8).

Incorrect. Even the kits are incomplete, bad fitment, poor quality on various parts, etc... And none of them solve the electronic or wiring problems, or have solutions for the custom cooling, driveshaft, oil management, etc...

The easiest non-Renesis engine swap is to an RX-7's 13b, and that will still run you >$10k.
