Hi there I’m currently building a semi pp hybrid engine using S5 Rx7 housings & turbo rotors
can I do a Mazda edit to the ecu to run 2 extra injectors
I will be running a custom lower 8 port inlet manifold & a FD Rx7 upper manifold with a Nicon rotary adapter to run the RX8 throttlebody so I can keep the electric pedal & Throttlebody with 6 injectors & I plan to use as much RX8 parts possible that are used to the RX8 inlet manifolds like hoses etc except the 6 port barrels won’t be used with new manifolds

 

The stock motor used 6 injectors so you won't have problems with that. You will have to use some of the stock injector strategies that may not be ideal... but it should work.

 

Ive wondered how a smog tech’s face would look if
i brought in my 8 with a bridge and it was running stock ecu to pass inspectio. Pass the obd2 (maybe) test but running like garbage.

 

If it's N/A you wont need extra injectors .............
