Just got done reading another thread which stated that Mazda was reflashing our cars with a new "better gas mileage" ecu. I may wait a bit before finishing any stage 1 or stage 1.2 improvements. Sidebar I just watched the Japanese Autoshow in HD...nice cars, ummm and women.....

hmmmm so does that mean I can take my car in and have them reflash with an update that can help with my crappy mileage?

 

I thnk you only get that reflash if you've had a CEL problem...a few people have taken their car in, asked for it, and been refused since there was nothing wrong with the car.

 

I don't know if I'm going to be making any meet tonight, my heat pump unit (outside) has frozen over for the last week or so (I'm talking 8" of ice) and I have to make sure the fan motor hasn't self destructed in the process. Of course, by our I mean my responsibility and not making meaning damn this weather is nice!

 

I will be there! I need to go to the magic short pump brushless wash before I go there though... my car is D I R T Y!

Where the heck is this place? went looking for it the other day and never found it? my car is filthy, except for a few clean patches where I wiped off the mess the seagulls left me last week.

Well today I went to blockbuster after work to rent a few games for the weekend..... well I get back into my car and pooof I could not go in reverse! After several times of putting the car into first then reverse it finally backed up. While I backed up the shifted swung wildly around!

 

Tick your car has got to be squeezed........ Time to check those Va lemon laws again

 

I think a few people have had that problem, but I don't remember what it was or why it did it.

 

Yeah I'm sick of this! I am going to call the district manager again and ask him about a buy back.

I agree with Chirorx8. You gotta be close to the limit of the lemon laws. Check it out. If you are, that will be a BIG club to get the buy back moving.

Wow man, like I said when you called me yesterday. LEMMON LAW THAT THING!!!

I realy feel sorry for you man, you should not be haveing these experinces.

But, just so you know I am doing my part as a RX8 Club member I called Mazda to complain about the gas milage and why I didn't recive any of the pre-purchase goodies. They gave me the run around with the gas milage saying the EPA Milage is only a estimate BS and I was like..look I don't want to discus it with you customer service boy...just log my complaint and add my name to the list.

Also at short pump saw a Yellow RX8 with the licence plate OUR RX8. Left a note on the windshiled to join the forum. I hope they do.

If you take PUMP ROAD past the Ukrops there will be a sub-division on your right, the next right nesseled between a gas station is the new laser touchless car wash. Its 8 bucks for a wash and its worth it.

Best touchless wash around.

I'm not a lawyer, but here is the VA lemon Law regulations. I started down this path on my wife's Saturn 2000 LW3. Luckily Saturn beat me to it and offered to swap the car before I even asked. However, we all know that Mazda is not Saturn.

And Tick, guess what? My car just pulled the same thing TWICE, but it wouldn't go into first gear. Once at the McDonalds Drive-Thru, and then again at the stoplight at the Kroger on Broad. I had to start in 2nd. Grr. Guess Capitol will be looking at something else aside from the recalls and 10k service this week....

 

Mine has not had the back up problem today. I hate to bring in my car to them and they cannot duplicate this problem : ) Thanks for the links MSRECANT I appreciate all the help.
