Got my car back just now, thank god- I can't believe how awful that grand am was in comparison. No connection with the road, loud and rough idle, no pickup- felt like I was driving a truck. How can people BUY those things?? Bleah...

Where's everyone? Awful quiet in here these days. Anyway took my car in to the dealer on Saturday for an oil change, my first dealer service by the way from Capitol Mazda... The mechanic who worked on my car apparently does not have any respect for other people's property. He got grease all over the driver's side door, and left the window open and allowed rain to drip all over the leather interior, unbelievable! On the up side I've been driving the hell out of the car since the oil change and enjoying every second. If you haven't tried going under an overpass with your windows down with WOT at 8k+ rpm, I'd highly recommend it, felt like I was in a race car. :D My MPG has dropped slightly with the hard driving, from 17MPG before to 16MPG, not too bad I guess. Anyway hope to see more of rx8 showing at the Friday meets, I was the only one there with an 8 last Friday.
