I'm sure we can make this one just as long...

Is there a meet tomorrow? I've been away for the past few Fridays, and I'm starting to get antsy to see some nice cars up close again...

Hey this is a nice new thread. Well it looks like rain Sat. so tonight will be the only nice car day. I drove to work (see Rever) and now have a whopping 830 miles on the car.

Wasn't sure if you guys had changed the venue since 9k was talking about Hooters the other night

Sorry I didn't make it tonight- I got invited to dinner at the last minute, and came by to see if you guys were still there, but I must have missed you.

I still think a mass zaino party would be fun. I just found out that my business neighbor purchased a silver RX8 with front spoiler and rear spoiler. Looks very nice. He is prez of the Richmond Homebuilder Association. Showed him the site.

The girl in the Capital One Parking lot across from CarMax corporate who drives a titanium 8 exchanged thumbs-up with me the other day- I may go leave her a note on her car about the forum.

Okay Hanzo u wize guy?? Whats the deal starting a new thread and you don't even have a RX-8??? The nerv of some people...

Hehehe.

I was wondering what happend? No one was posting...I thought you guys up and gave up on the site.

So, anyway Hanzo and I were haveing a talk about flooding yesterday. I already proved him wrong about the treadwear of our tires...now I want to get him again on the flooding issue but I need your help.

Next time you shut off your RX-8.. blip the throttle then wait for the rotars to spin down then settle. Then turn it off. Then the next time u start the car tell us if you notice any sputtering or does it start smoothly.

I heard the yellow RX8 that I left a note on showed up at the last meet. Actuly I found out that they are like a Mazda family..the mom has a Mazda 6..the dad has a RX8 and their son has a RED FD..

Cool stuff.

Haha, yeah, you got me on the tread wear on the RE040s, I had them on my WRX and they didn't grip that well when they heated up that is why I didn't think much of them as a performance tyre. I am surprise they only have a 145 rating when my Advans on the Evo has 140, the advans are a lot softer compound too.

No... cuz.. you don't drive your 8 in the winter anyway!

But, if you were realy realy realy in the market for winter tires..than yeah..it may not be bad for 4 tires and rims..

I figure I will get a bill for a 5K service check, but the car only has 835 miles on it. There may be a war.

Ok so here we go. Call last week to schedule an appointment for Tuesday (today). Show up at 8 am and I am told no appointment on the books but leave the car. Call back at 5pm and car has not been worked on yet. No phone calls to say it will be another day. I guess I should have taken the truck rental. They probably ran out of sandpaper for the wax job.

Damn R U serious?

I never have problems with them.

My appointment is always on the books and I always get same day treatment.
