I won't be there tonight so if you can get some pics of 10K's body kit please post them to this site. I am looking into buying the mazdaspped body kit from Rosenthal this spring so I would like to see what other options are out there. BTW how long did it take them to install the kit and did they charge you a lot to do it?

Hey 9k I saw the FD's on http://www.autotrader.com i did a search for all 91 RX7 or new any price and found a few within 200 miles.

 

A friend of mine installed it so it was free. You should get the mazdaspeed kit since our cars are the same color well be twins. You should have seen the looks on peoples faces and heard the compliments people were giving me when i was driving it today everyone loved it. Even a guy in a 350z liked it. And the mazdaspeed exhaust sounds great slight increase in power and response down low no all i need is a company to make a turbo for my car.

 

Chirorx8 you werent driving on midlothian today i was driving my lexus and saw and older white male driving a red rx8 that wasnt you was it.

Finally got my 8 unstuck from the left-over crap after about 20 minutes of wheel spinning and several stalls... I feel bad for the brand new clutch. So what time and where is the meet tonite? 7:30 behind Dick's?

Don't feel bad Chirox8 I only have 1700 miles on my car and I have had it since the end of September : ) The last car I had I only put 38k on it in 5 years. I am sure you will put a lot less miles than me but they are QUALITY miles. When we drive we enjoy the hell out of it!

I just completed a long but interesting day. While my main goal was seeking out a used AWD as a third family car, I got to have some fun.

While waiting for info at Richmond Honda, I got to check out an S2000 they had in the show room. At Saturn of Richmond used cars while waiting to test drive an Outback, I spent some time going over a Boxster they had on the floor. At Pence Subaru, they had a 350Z convertable on the floor that I investigated while the salesman was consulting with his "sales manager".

As I basically bought my 8 over the Internet (Mazda Pre-Sale program) I never really got to do this kind of thing. Have I found an AWD yet ... no. But the process has yielded some unexpected advantages.

 

Was fun tonight guys (if a little chilly). Thanks again- the 8s actually outnumbered any other car tonight!
