Hanzo doesn't get on my nerves. Just let a off forum topic hit this thread... We were IMing the whole time we were posting.

Like I said..Hanzo and I go way back.

Hanzo has had alot of great cars. Two of wich I wish he would have kept. His last AE86 and his RX7- Turbo 2..

He gets tired of dumping money into them all the time, and then sells them.

So recently we have been argueing about the EVO/RX8..

If Hanzo got on my nerves I don't think we could have remained friends for 11 years now...Damn...

My poor baby is still stuck under all this snow- ugh. How's everyone else doing?

And 10k Rever- that was just a little TOO much information. Not really sure I wanna know about your sex life when I don't even know you.

Mine is still snug and warm in the garage. When is the next eat and meet? Thai Dinner would be great since we can not agree on Japanese food. Of course since we are all so rich here, why dont we just hop on the parents lear jet and go to Japan.

Yes he does sometimes but I usually am very open and accept most everyone, I am pretty lenient.

whoa, guess you can say I'm a non-believer, tried to take my brand new 8 out today and first thing that happened when I backed out of my driveway was it got stuck! I live in this cul-de-sac and it's up-hill after I get out of the driveway, and I was just spinning the wheels like crazy. Luckily I was able to put in back in first and drive back into my driveway. Geez guess I'm stuck driving my mirage until all this snow melts from my neighborhood. I miss driving my 8 though, was hoping I can put 1k miles on it by 2 weeks. Anyway if the snow clears I'll come out and meet you guys this Friday. Lates.

Matches my experience. I'm in my second day of carefully driving it around. The 8 seems ok as long as there is some exposed pavement or if it is a flat snow/ice covered surface. However, any obstacle (hill, rut, snow bank, stiff breeze, etc) stops it dead with the rear wheels spinning. I ended up being very selective of which road I took or which parking lot I went in. Luckily I live in a basically flat section of town.

They plowed our street late yesterday, hopefully you will get yours plowed shortly.

Hey guys, I am back...I won't be taking two days off anymore..21 Emails...14 voicemails...and a **** load of faxes...Good thing I'm in sales so its all good for me!

Anyway.. Only problem I had today was MY STUPID APT COMPLEX DIDN'T CLEAN OFF THE DRIVEWAY TO THE GARAGE!! Its only like a 8 foot ramp! The street was clean...the walk ways were clean...why didn't it dawn on them to shovel the garrage ramp??

THATS WAS THE MOST HAIRY 8 FEET OF MY 8'S LIFE!!! ABS..TRACTION CONTOL...BFD all in 8 feet under 5 miles an hour..

But, got on the street..and didn't have any real problems.

So, when I got home tonite...the ramp still was a sheet of frozen snow... I have never DRIFTED into my parking deck before...but I did tonite...full DORI DORI...(drift).. Can't wait to go to work tommorow...

But, in the garrage tonite I met that lady who works for Philip Morris who has the red 8 that was in the news paper. Found out that her car is in the shop for a weird power loss issue over 4k RPM...brought it in to Mazda and she should get an anwer tommorow..I can't wait to hear what the issue was.

Its an automatic so it has a diffrent engine then ours....

You forgot the LSD and DSC.

Its amazing how all that technology is totally useless if the tires can't connect to the ground somewhere.

I don't know if she would like our crowd... She is a nice lady and I invited her to my place and showed her the forum. I also gave her a copy of the RX8 Tech CD so she can learn about her engine.

She didn't know much about Rotarys but she will be learning fast now.
