i went to the oc show on sunday but only saw one 8 and i dont think it was yours. when i was driving around though i got passed by this ******* in a supra that thought he was hot ****. he ended up behind this chick in a srt 4 at the next red light. i guess the chick screwed up her launch and the dude launched his nice supra right into the the back of a neon. it made me smile.

 

Whats up .... the show was good ... I didnt get to bring my 8 because it was in the shop. Does anyone still met at fudds on sunday or not. Or anywhere for that matter. Well if anyone mets up still let me know or any up comeing show. let me know ...

Does anyone know a place where I can get mesh powder coated? I'm having my buddy club front bumper put on this week and the mesh that comes with is a shiny silver. The shop that's putting on the bumper doesn't do powder coating. I live in Silver Spring.

 

why not just paint it?? after all, it's just mesh screen.

 

lol - nobody better be hatin' - your car looks dope! and yea, scott's really great to work with. if you need anything, let me know or give ray wilson a call at pf supercars in frederick. he's done at least 3-4 greddy/interceptor-x installs and tunes. he's got a dynojet there to really dial in the proper settings - plus there's always a ton of kick *** rx-7's around to drool over!

depending on the weather, i might try to cruise down to capital raceway this weekend just to see what my 8 lays down on the 1/4 mile. gotta be honest tho, i get more of a rush slidin' the damn thing crazy than straight-line jammin'... and unfortunately, the car has a few battle scars to prove it (ouch) not to mention rippin' thru a few sets of tires. damn that gets expensive!

So this might be a really dumb *** question, but what would be a good place to get some audio upgrades done?
I want to integrate my iPod into the audio system
And my nickname is Destructo....so needless to say, I won't be the one doing it

Good point. The body shop installing the bumper said they could paint the mesh screen black for me so I'm going to have them do that.

If you dont mind the drive up here.. there is a place called Audio Connection in towson.. on Jappa road..take 695 to loch Raven exit go to 2nd light(jappa road) make a left and drive down a few blocks.. audio connection on the right hand side.. its next to a pepboys. ask for Chris... He does a really good job with sound quality and installation.. tell him Coke sent you and you get a discount..

Just wondering if the RX-7 I ran into a week or so ago was anyone here- Driving back to baltimore for about 15 minutes until I broke off onto 695, some guy in a white rx-7 kept playing with me around 1AM....I was in my red 8 with rx8club.com decals on the rear window....fun stuff, but I wasn't in the right mood, just after a long traffic-y drive from NY...

 

That was Me.. Elysium19... i saw ya from way back and sped up to catch up with ya after the bridge on 95.. thats when i caught up with ya.. i didnt see the rx8club.com logo in the window though.. (to dark).. I figured you were drivin slow to not get a ticket.. but cops usually arent up that far on the 95.. oly when you get near whitemarsh exit. 67 i think.. It was great drivin..

Man everybody has problems gettin those doors shut except me because I sat there in my garage for a while and came up with a game plan on how to close it while sitting down lol pretty sad. But yeah we were at assylum wake skate snow I think. Shoulda said hi bro.
