Whats up guys/gals, I just recently purchased my RX-8 like a month or so ago. Im located on the eastern shore of MD! haha yea yea i know i know but Im definitely down for trying to hit some get togethers. I think i will be in ocean city june 10-11 for the car show but im not positive yet.

 

Yeah i saw that episode of pinks the first day.. many people were talkin about it on the 7 forum and we kinda all watched the first day they showed it on tv.. It was funny how the civic people really didnt know how it could have beaten them with no nitrous.. sayin that the engine is so small.. :-D

Personally, I'd love to have an OC meet and cruise down Coastal Hwy. Of course, it's tough to get many people to make the drive on the same day.

As for tonight, I may be able to make it. Hopefully the weather will hold out...

Olorin2 maybe oneday we can do that.. but make it an all day event though.. like we meet up in white marsh and head over to OC and meet up with the easternshore guys.. and we can chill at the beach or something.. I'm down for a oneday vacation drive.. :-D

EDIT: The weather is goin to turn ugly soon so I dont think it would be really good meet weather..

yeah man you guys should definitely try and hit up OC june 10th or 11th for the show. It was pretty hott last year and they say it only gets better each year. Ill be in the show so if anybody does make it down be sure to look for the vivid motorsports booth and stop by and say hey.

 

June 10th is the rotary bbq in Crofton MD.. I've seen flyers of Vivid motorsports on my car a while back.. how are they as a club?

where the hell were you guys at in MD the skies were clear and the roads were dry. umbrellas shmumbrellas. i would have enjoyed my own MEAT much better then sitting in an empty parking lot getting stared at by rent-a-cops

 

I'm planning to be in OC June 9, 10, 11 and 12th. I wasn't planning to take my 8, but I could reconsider.

 

Belkjz i was at work on sat.. there was a car meet today the 21st... at columbia MD.. and only 1 8 showed up... the meet in WM will be this thurs.

 

Hey Coke, I'm considering going down for the show during the weekend of June 10th, but I'm not sure yet. I'd like to have some other 8's come with me (or 7's!) to make it a little more fun. Any possibility you would make it? Anyone else going that hasn't already posted about it?

 

for june 10th i'm goin to the Rotary bbq i already put in my spot.. i'm goin to show off the car.. a bit like i did last year.. sorry man.. look on the rx7club.com forum i'm pretty sure there are a few 7's goin.. and others goin to the bbq.. look around and ask a few people if you wanna meet up before drivin down there

 

i qactually made the second 8 to show up but didnt stick around cause i only saw three cars there yours included. you guys were already inside eating so i didnt feel like catching up. i was being anti social.

 

It's here, it's here...I love my 8 and my MX-6 but it just wasn't enough. My wife and I got our motorcycle learners and bought a motorcycle. I let her pick her motorcycle (2006 Suzuki GS500f) and we will share it until I'm comfortable enough to get something bigger. I 've NEVER been on a motorcycle until this morning (bike came last night). I jumped on and after only a couple of laps around the neighborhood I'm hooked. 2 miles of practice and was already going 30mph in second gear. I know to experienced riders thats nothing but for a beginner it was exciting.

Anyone here ride?

anyone know where i can get a coolant hose from? i tried Advance auto they said try the dealer.. i'm tryin to avoid them.. i'm goin to the junkyard to see if i can find a decent one..

well its the one that sits right behind the upper intake manifold on the S4.. right now i'm waiting for my injectors to come in tomorrow cuz i had cleaned out my aux ports and found out the ones that were n there were cracked.. but once that's in there the car will be alot faster.. and i have time to get the coolant hose.. i'll take a pic of it later..
